Please remember that when your child is identified as a close contact to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 (whether it be to someone in the community, to someone at school or to a family member), they must be quarantined from the community for 10 full days following exposure to the positive person. This includes gatherings with friends and family, extracurricular activities such as dance or sports and going out in public areas such as the mall where others could be exposed. It is also very important to notify your child's daycare, dance groups, coaches, etc...that they have been identified as a close contact with a positive individual.
