Who are they?
The Dayton Community Club/PTO is a group of parent volunteers committed to volunteering, fundraising and providing enrichment activities for the students and staff at Dayton Consolidated School. Membership in the Community Club takes shape in many forms, from attending meetings to donating items to volunteering at events. However you participate, your involvement will benefit all students and staff!

When do they meet?
The Community Club currently meets the first Monday of the month via Zoom. We hope to resume in person meetings soon.
How can you volunteer?
The Community Club accepts volunteers in many forms!! We have many members who are unable to attend regular meetings but give back in other ways - such as assisting with Facebook posts, volunteering at events or offering assistance in picking up pizza or waters for events. If you want to volunteer, but are unsure how to make it work, please reach out for options!

In order to provide our school with meaningful and fun activities and enrichment opportunities, we strive to sponsor two fundraisers per year (fall and spring).
Fundraisers come in many forms, from ordering products to apparel.
Enrichment - Education can be fun, too! Each year, we hope to bring a few inspiring and educational programs to school for a special presentation. In the past, we’ve sponsored Junk to Funk, Magic/light shows, indoor planetariums, Mad Science, Author Visits, and local trips to Thornton Academy to watch a play.
Scholarship - two $500 scholarships are awarded to previous Dayton graduates based on how they have and plan to contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
